embroidery, weaving

Mistress manufactures woven shirts, ‘zapasky’ (a sort of apron), and tablecloths. Colored Embroided Hutsul shirts, towels and napkins show the high level of craftswoman’s skill.

In the big and comfortable house, decorated with woven elements, there is a mistress’s workshop equipped with the weaving machine, where the craftswoman can give a master class. Mrs. Kateryna will show how to manufacture a shirt, how separate elements are formed to be sewed into a finished product. The mistress can provide accommodation for one family, and neighborhood house - for two families or 4 people.

Tourists can learn to weave, embroider. They can see local traditions, including Christmas and Easter celebrations; can taste the ecologically clean food. In the village of Kornych there is an original ceremony of making headwear for the bride that can be presented by the mistress’s granddaughter. You can also dress shirt, ‘zapasky’, choosing from the collection whatever you like and make photos for memory.

Master class can be hold at home both for adults and children (5-10 persons).
